The staff were warm and welcoming, the shower was amazing, and the free breakfast was the best we had in Tuscany. There’s a rooftop terrace and garden, and you can’t beat the spot in the heart of Volterra. The Albergo Etruria has simple rooms, modest furnishings, and more of a hostel feel than a traditional hotel. If you want a polished stay, it may disappoint. For a budget-friendly place with great staff, breakfast, and a surprisingly good shower, it’s a solid choice.

This hotel was a highlight of our whole trip. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, and breakfast was generous and delicious. The location is ideal, and the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful. We rarely say it, but the place felt perfect in every way. Absolutely wonderful!

I stayed as a tourist with my sister and really enjoyed it. The owners are such a lovely couple and were there whenever we needed anything. You’re right in the middle of Volterra, with coffee shops and restaurants close by. It’s a great place to stay, so don’t hesitate.

There’s a small cafe on the terrace overlooking town, and breakfast was nice. You’ll need to call reception about 10 minutes before coming down to reserve a table. The rooms are basic but comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. It’s a quirky hotel right in the center of Volterra.

We had a comfortable stay and thought it was good value for the money. The family-run hotel is in Volterra, and the pricing was good. Staff at the front desk were always friendly and helpful, and the property exceeded our expectations on value. Breakfast is modest but enough for a quick bite and coffee. The rooms could use some modernizing, and the shower pressure was weak.
