Hotel San Lino

The staff were very nice, but the facilities don't feel like a four-star hotel at all. My room was very small and cold because a window behind the curtain had been left open. I only worked out what was wrong after a while, and there was no hot water in the shower.

The location and the pool were the best parts, though the pool is on the small side. The AC ran but didn't cool the room effectively, and the bathroom was extra small. Housekeeping was really noisy, or maybe the walls are too thin. Everything felt outdated and not especially well maintained. Breakfast was okay. Hard to see how this is considered a four-star hotel.

The San Lino was a great base for the Andrea Bocelli concert last week. We especially appreciated how helpful, friendly, and efficient the front desk team, Jenny, Lisa and Dorothy, and Antonio were. They make a very good team. The location is fantastic, we enjoyed the pool area, and breakfast was good. Hope to come back soon! Phil and Moya Caldwell.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the quiet end of town made for a lovely stay. We enjoyed chatting with the staff in the breakfast room. But checking out turned into a really rattling experience. The proprietor insisted we'd taken pool towels, though we hadn't even used the pool, and clearly didn't believe me when I said we hadn't used any. She was so aggressive about it that I was about to open my suitcase to prove I hadn't taken them. She just said “fine” and literally turned her back on me. After two weeks in Italy, this was the first rude person I'd met. I wouldn't stay here again because of this.
