The villas are great, the location is stunning, and the staff are friendly and attentive. There are lots of activities on offer. More air conditioning units might make it even better.

A great spot for a family getaway!

We found Apartment No. 7 roomy enough for all five of us, and it was clean with a well-stocked kitchen: fridge and walk-in cooler, microwave, stovetop, moka pot, capsule coffee machine, kettle, sandwich maker, iron, dishes, and utensils. The shower door wouldn’t shut properly, and the shower tray seals need replacing, but that was the only issue. The price for five people at that time of year was very affordable. I loved eating breakfast on the patio in the quiet, with the October sun and nature all around. The hills here are lovely, and the farmhouse is only a few kilometers from Volterra, with Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano, and the Val d'Elsa within reach by car. There’s a play area for kids and a beautiful, well-kept pool with plenty of loungers. Weather permitting, it stays open through October 31st. In the mornings we saw two pigs wandering peacefully, which was a lovely way for the children to be around nature. The place is part of a group of three agriturismos, with Diacceroni as the main one. They offer activities like horseback riding, cooking classes, and picnics, along with lunch and dinner, and there’s a bar with a great view for a break. We stayed from October 5th to 8th, 2025, and enjoyed the slower pace. If you’re hoping to leave the city behind and rest, this is a very relaxing choice.

A lovely family holiday home. We did wish the kitchen had more gear, though. There weren’t even any large glasses, which is often the sort of thing you run into in a holiday rental.
