We had the pool to ourselves, and it was cleaned every day. The location was peaceful and fantastic, about 10 minutes from Volterra and 50 minutes from the sea. During the day, the trees gave us lovely dappled shade, and there’s a beautiful dinner spot under a weeping willow. We booked through Interchalet. The holiday home itself is lovely, but it felt neglected. Everything was quite dirty when we arrived, and we had to clean before we felt comfortable. The kitchen is nice, but the pots and pans were a mismatched mess, and there wasn’t even a pot for cooking pasta. The mattresses were worn out.
