Casa Schmidt gave us the quiet we wanted, away from the touristy center, while still being within walking distance of restaurants, groceries, and bakeries. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the harbour. Bernhart listened to what we needed and shared insider tips for exploring the island. We’d have stayed longer if we could. Don’t make the same mistake we did! 😊

The rooms are spacious and clean, with doors opening onto a charming garden. The crew made us feel very welcome, and shared plenty of insider tips to help us enjoy Vulcano. It’s a beautiful place and definitely one to choose.

Rosi and Bernhard are lovely people, and their sweet kids add to the welcoming feel. We’d give the place ten stars if we could. Bernhard’s grandparents built the house, and he has completely renovated it into a little paradise. We felt at home and had a wonderful time. Rosi had already switched on the air conditioning before we arrived. They both speak German and English fluently, helped us whenever they could, and we had some really nice chats. Bernhard also told us lovely stories about the island. There’s a wonderful garden and a very nice breakfast area. Our room had a double bed and shower, plus a huge terrace with a big fridge outside.

The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, and we found the rooms welcoming and equipped with all the comforts. We stayed for five days and I can’t wait to come back.
