The rooms were comfortable and nicely equipped, though I missed having a kettle. There was a kitchen in the room, but using it cost an extra 12 euros per day, which I hadn’t expected. The spa wasn’t open when we visited near the end of the season, and terrace dining had already stopped too. The hotel has a charming setting and its own beach with unusual black sand. It was quiet and uncrowded at that time of year. I’d like to return in summer and hopefully eat on the terrace while watching the sun set over the lagoon.

The terrace is a lovely place for sunset aperitifs and dinner, with a great DJ set. The suites have beautiful sea views, the staff are friendly, and the location is excellent. It’s a relaxing place to stay and a handy base for exploring the Aeolian Islands. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Highly recommended.

The rooftop bar has a gorgeous view, especially at sunset. There’s a private beach area with sun loungers for guests, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped. The staff were friendly and the service was good, though English was limited at breakfast. I’d highly recommend it.

We spent one night here while touring the islands. The room was spacious and nice, and breakfast was good. It’s about a five-minute walk to town, and the bad smell doesn’t linger around the hotel, which was a big plus. We climbed the volcano on the evening we arrived, and that was the best part of our stay in Vulcano.

It’s peaceful and quiet, with tidy rooms that are beautifully furnished. The staff are friendly and ready to help. You’re in the “black beaches” area, just a few minutes from the center and about a 10-minute walk from the trail up the volcano.
