The location made it easy to explore Vulcano’s natural attractions, including the volcano hikes and the famous mud baths. The concierge team at Rojas Bahia Hotel helped arrange excursions and suggested local places to visit, so I could make the most of my time on the island. My stay at Rojas Bahia Hotel in Vulcano, Sicily, went beyond what I expected. It’s a hidden gem on a beautiful island, with panoramic sea and neighboring volcano views that made the property feel peaceful. The staff were attentive and caring throughout. Check-in was smooth, and they walked me through the hotel’s facilities and services. My room was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed. The furnishings were high quality, the bedding was plush, and housekeeping kept everything impeccably clean. The amenities covered what I wanted, too. The on-site restaurant was a highlight, serving Sicilian food with freshly caught seafood and local ingredients. Each dish felt carefully made with creativity and passion. The hotel’s facilities were extraordinary, and the whole place felt like a tranquil retreat. Rojas Bahia Hotel brings together comfort and attentive service, from the staff to the views and amenities. I wholeheartedly recommend it if you’re looking for a peaceful stay in Vulcano.

Cinzia at reception was lovely and helped us a lot. She was kind, helpful, and suggested restaurants and things to do. The hotel is only about a five-minute walk from the ferry, even with luggage. The rooms we stayed in were quite small and didn’t really look like the website pictures, but they were fine. There was air conditioning and they gave us a plug-in mosquito repellent. The mud is very close, so you can smell it around the hotel, but it was okay.

We stayed two nights during our Sicily trip. The staff were polite and nice, and although the rooms had older furnishings, they were clean and we felt comfortable there. Breakfast was okay, but the selection was limited and less tasty than I’d expect, even though we often have Italian breakfasts like cornetto and cappuccino. I gave it three stars because it’s a three-star hotel and it met expectations. We recommend the bubbling sea near the mud pool. :)

Vulcano is beautiful, and the hotel’s position is superb. The staff were very kind and helped us arrange a boat trip, which was magnificent.

The view is nice and the staff are friendly, but the volcano’s sulfur smell was awful. We ordered a huge beer that tasted really good, though it cost more than €20 each.
