The area is beautiful, with lovely scenery and chances to hike, bike, and see local wildlife. The center is only a few minutes away for local food and affordable souvenirs. Our room was cosy and well looked after, with WiFi, TV, a fridge, and cooking facilities. It felt like a proper escape, with the famous Vulcano 🌋 right in front of where we stayed. Everyone was welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived, making sure we were comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and could really unwind and enjoy the simple things. I'd happily come back and recommend it for a relaxing, memorable visit.

We stayed in June and were completely happy with the place. The complex is exceptionally tidy and well cared for, and the black sand beach on the western bay is right there and easy to reach. Our studio was very comfortable, with a roomy bathroom and a handy kitchen on the front porch. I highly recommend it for a restful stay by the sea, with a splendid view of the volcano.

Our ten days here were lovely. The two people managing the place were extremely courteous, kind, and helpful. The apartment was quiet and tastefully furnished, with a large loggia, and turned out better than we expected. The town center is convenient to reach, as are the mud baths, about a ten-minute walk away. It's exceptionally located and very clean. One drawback: since hanging laundry on the clothesline provided with the apartment isn't allowed to avoid spoiling the view, more comfortable beds and sofa beds would be welcome. There is a TV, though it looks like it's from the 1990s, and it doesn't work.

The property is in an enviable spot on the black sands of Ponente Bay, below the volcano. Staff are friendly, and the place is well kept, though a little dated. They clean mid-week.
