We came back after a year, on December 3, 2023, with 25 of us, and had another great day. Some joined Furio and his dogs Luna and Ciccio for the Truffle Tour. We put in plenty of effort, had fun, and came back ravenous but completely satisfied. The food was beautiful and excellent, the drinks were great, and we had lovely company. Thanks to Furio, Melania, and Nasia, from all of us 💪 Spedart Roma
After hours in the woods searching for truffles with their adorable dogs, Furio and Matteo had lunch ready for us, just as planned, including a jar of the truffles we found. They’re also excellent chefs. As the owners of the property and organizers of the truffle hunt, they deserve 10 stars to me for their friendliness, professionalism, and hospitality. Casale Vecchio Olivo is highly recommended.
Furio makes you feel at home from the moment he welcomes you. We’ve been here twice now and will definitely return. It’s a lovely spot for relaxing in nature, sharing time with friends, and eating well, especially the truffles. Highly recommended!
The owners are warm, entertaining, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and they know how to make a holiday feel special. If you enjoy truffles and want a pleasant stay, this place is well worth considering.
Set among greenery in Zagarolo, this lovely place has a pool and comfortable sun loungers. It works well for families with children and for couples. The train gets you into central Rome quickly, so there’s a lot to like.
