We stayed here for 17 nights in June 2022, all four of us, and felt welcome from the moment we arrived by Rosaria and her family. This was our third trip to Zagarolo, and of all the places we’ve tried, Casale di Rosaria has been the best. We loved it enough to plan another visit just to stay here and see the family again. The breakfast was a perfect start to the day: Rosie served lovely homemade cakes along with fresh bakery items she picked up that morning. We often went for a swim in the sparkling salt water pool before breakfast. There’s an outdoor shower beside it with shampoo and body wash, a small touch I really appreciated. Our room was lovely, with a comfortable bed, a good shower, plenty of wardrobe space in a separate room, and a nice breeze at night. Rosie cleaned it daily, and each time we returned, it felt as beautiful as it had when we first walked in. We felt truly relaxed here and had a real holiday. Rosaria goes above and beyond. We’ll be back, and we’ll miss this lovely family.

It’s an ideal base for visiting Rome, Frascati, Tivoli, and the Roman countryside. The rooms are spotless, the beds really comfortable, and there’s a good range of breakfast choices. Rosaria and her husband Sebastiano are lovely, kind hosts who do everything they can to make you feel at home. I highly recommend staying here!

The hosts are friendly, and breakfast comes with delicious homemade treats. I especially recommend Rosaria’s Crostata (Jam tart) :). It’s a clean, peaceful place with a homely feel, well placed for visiting Rome, Castelli Romani, and Tivoli’s archaeological sites.
