The staff made things easy for us, especially Marsha, who manages the house, and Sylvia. They got us off to a good start with breakfast and were happy to prepare other meals if we asked. John and Pauline welcomed us warmly and helped with all our needs. We stayed at Spring Valley Inn for the first time last April, using it as our base for our annual cricket tour and volunteer work in schools on the Island. The rooms were comfortable, and the pool was a nice place to unwind on our days off. The inn overlooks the beautiful Caribbean Sea, and Ochi Rios is close enough for local outings. We'd definitely recommend it for a vacation in Jamaica. We'll be back this year for our annual visit and can't wait.

We barely had time to enjoy the lovely pool, which was our one regret. We were at Spring Valley Inn for a church Elders' retreat, and the host quickly took care of some needs we had beyond the usual. The food and hospitality were excellent. The place felt peaceful, comfortable, and homely, with a beautiful layout. On our last day, the owner joined us for dinner, a lovely finishing touch. I'd strongly recommend Spring Valley Inn.

The private pool and jacuzzi, the gazebos at the front and back, the landscaping, and that cool breeze made the outdoor areas especially lovely. We also liked having privacy in a convenient, safe spot, about 5-10 minutes from town, the beach, and shops. Inside, the rooms were tastefully decorated, each with its own bathroom, and there was air conditioning throughout. The common areas were great for spending time with family and friends, and the kitchen had everything we could need. There was also a breakfast package if we didn't feel like cooking. This place was even more beautiful in person. After our previous booking fell through, John and Pauline were accommodating and kept in touch to check that everything was going well. Check-in was easy, and the estate had everything at our fingertips. It felt like a home away from home, and my family and I loved our stay. We're planning to tell our friends and family to book it when they visit Jamaica. We wouldn't look elsewhere for a luxury vacation.

Spring Valley Inn is a beautiful property with breathtaking views, and it was clean, but my stay was a really bad experience because of the woman representing the owner, Pauline. She called herself Mitsy. From the start, she was rude and had an attitude. She asked me to pay cash and told me I couldn't enter or use the kitchen. I was put in a small guest room instead of the upstairs room I booked because she said she couldn't find its key. There was no key for the guest room either, so I felt uneasy about anyone being able to walk in and take something. On the second day, I had to leave the premises because workers were brought in without anyone calling to tell me. While we were at the pool, Mitsy used a spare key to open the dining area entrance and barged in on our privacy. Guys were going in and out of the dining area, and she also turned off the AC there. I have videos of the room I was given and of trying to turn on the AC, which wasn't working. My guest and I were left in the hot area and couldn't stay there during the day to enjoy the property. I'm Jamaican myself, and this was one of the worst experiences I've had with my own people. I stayed calm because I didn't want any physical trouble at the property. I would book here again because the place itself is beautiful, but Mitsy has to go. I spoke with the owner, who was confused because they were saying only one person was in the Airbnb. I'm 100 percent sure my booking said it fit two guests, and I was there with my cousin. She resolved the issue within 30 minutes after I left. I was tired and frustrated with Mitsy's attitude, and had to return to get the key from the woman who brought it for the property.
