Orchid Cottage

The gardens were beautiful and the pool was kept clean, which we really enjoyed. It was our first Airbnb stay, and Ms Betty made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. She was welcoming and attentive, and Samantha and the rest of the staff were just as friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean, and breakfast tasted authentic, like it had been made with care. A lovely quiet spot to unwind. We’d come back.

Those tropical gardens were full of fruit and flowers, with hummingbirds all around. It felt magical. Betty was caring, fun to talk to, knowledgeable from the start, and gave us superb recommendations. Orchid Cottage is a special place, and she really knows how to show Kingston at its best. I recommend it highly, though part of me wants to keep it to myself.

The garden and outdoor area are such a peaceful little haven, really therapeutic. The location felt safe and central, near the amenities we needed, and we were able to enjoy the scenery without feeling bothered by what was around us. Miss Betty is warm and caring, and her breakfasts are a highlight. You can eat in your cottage or beside the pool. Her team keeps the accommodation and yard looking lovely, and she grows food there too. The place is clean, comfortable, and relaxing, like a home away from home. A private spot to rest in Kingston. Lovely home and family, would definitely recommend.

We had a kitchen and bathroom in our bachelor-style room, and the price felt fair. Everything was well maintained and clean. The gated property has lovely gardens, a roomy back patio, and a pool for guests. Betty really looks after people. She prepared breakfast, gave us rides in her car at no charge, and made sure we were safe and in good hands. Her local travel tips were useful, and she connected us with resources when we needed them. The bed and breakfast was comfortable and welcoming.
