Sunset Inn Hotel

I've been a regular here for over five years, but I'm not sure I'll return after this stay. There was no running water in our room from check-in, and the issue wasn't fixed. After 11pm, I had to call a staff member myself to get us moved to another room, where the water supply was only a little better. The hot water worked, but it got very hot, and without running water the toilet couldn't be used. Management never apologized or offered any reduction in the price.

Breakfast arrived around 8:30 every morning, with our choices taken the night before. Someone was always on hand to answer questions before and during our stay, and they were quick to help if anything came up. We had Wi-Fi in the room, though it was strongest by guest services, and I had no trouble connecting when I needed it. They made us feel welcome. Great for the price, and I'd stay again.

I've stayed here over the years, but the current state of the place has really brought my rating down, to one star in my opinion. Kids on the property were clapping and stomping loudly without regard for the guests. A vacation should be a great experience, but mine wasn't. Sadly, I won't be coming back.

The room was clean, with air conditioning and hot water, and the customer service was very good. I did find it disappointing that the only toiletries were a bar of soap, a wash cloth, and towels.
