That balcony view at sunset was priceless, so spectacular and peaceful at the same time. Allenview is a gem in the cool Celebus hills of Malvern, St Elizabeth, and the owners were both warm and delightful. My room was clean, spacious, and tastefully done. I also got to look at some other rooms, all with that same monochromatic feel, and you could see the care put into each suite. I really admire the eco-friendly, green approach and wish more hotels would adopt it. Thank you for such a lovely experience 💕

The views were what first caught my attention, and the Allens made us feel welcome and looked after from the minute my family and I arrived. Their warmth and care for the details were clear throughout our stay. I own Choose To Be Happy, a vacation rental business in Kingston, and I appreciate the work that goes into making a retreat feel special. AllenView Guest House in Malvern, St. Elizabeth, really stood out to me. Our minimalist rooms were comfortable and cozy, and the 360-degree views made the place feel like a slice of paradise. We could watch the sun rise over the hills and see the sunset color the sky. The restaurant had a lovely range of food, and the premium bar was well stocked. The owners were polite, knowledgeable, and ready to help. The guest house sits among the cool hills, with valleys and beautiful surroundings that make it easy to get away from everyday busyness. St. Elizabeth has plenty to offer, even though people often head straight to Ocho Rios, Negril, or Portland. Malvern is off the beaten path, and locals and tourists come through looking for quiet, solitude, and a reset. At the time of our visit it was peak season in Jamaica, with warm weather, long sunny days, and only occasional brief showers in some interior parishes. Malvern was similar, though the weather can be cool and windy. We looked at several places to stay in the area but were drawn to AllenView for the reasons above, and the other options didn’t compare. Plan ahead if you want your first choice. It could suit a retreat, book club, small church group, or office gathering. You can relax in the hills or spend time at one of the many spots along Treasure Beach in Southern St. Elizabeth. Visitors are welcome year-round. The Allens have made a remarkable vacation home. It’s a lovely place to unwind, rejuvenate, and make memories, and I’d gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable escape in Malvern. I’d be happy to return.

The property feels like a cozy home, and my family enjoyed every minute there. It’s modern and comfortable, with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Mr and Mrs Allen were warm and welcoming, and the rooms and breathtaking scenery made the whole stay amazing. We could forget the hustle and bustle and everything going on in the world for a while. Such a lovely spot to relax and unwind. I’ll definitely come back with friends.

Such a lovely place. The rooms are really nice, and the view is wonderful. It gets gently chilly here, lol. A wonderful, agreeable middle-aged couple from England run the establishment.
