Yvonne in the laundry was fantastic, but David the butler had an attitude. The chef quit on our first night, and the replacement was terrible. He ignored our requests, served meals late even though we gave specific times, and came across as unfriendly and uninterested, like talking to us bothered him. The place itself was nice, though it needs more air conditioning units and updated appliances.

Mrs. Daniel collected our wedding money but, according to what happened to us, didn't pay the villa employees or give them the money for our meals that week. We had to dip into our savings to cover food for the entire stay, which wasn't in our budget. The staff were great except for the driver Doc Johnson, who took our commission money to pay the tour guides. What a disgrace. The villa is nice, but Mrs. Daniel is disgusting. I’d never stay here again or recommend it.

Things came together in the end, and the day turned out brilliantly because people stayed positive and worked together. But there was a lot of disorganization from the night before and on the wedding day. It seemed nobody knew where the tables and chairs were supposed to go, and the DJ got frustrated after being told to move his equipment three times. Keep in mind there may be hidden charges if you book a stay here.

The staff we appreciated most were Yvonne, the laundress and housekeeper, Tereka, the housekeeper, and Michael, our driver. Michael was a blessing on the trip, always pleasant, helpful, upbeat, and accommodating. His restaurant and nightlife suggestions were spot on. He took us to Chukka’s for ATV riding and horseback riding, a party boat to Margaritaville, the luminous lagoon, sunset and partying at Rick’s in Negril, Pier 1 nightclub, Dunn’s River Falls in Ocho Rios, and Peppa’s, which we all loved enough to visit twice. The staff were a big part of why we enjoyed the trip. There were 12 cousins in our group, and we stayed at Endless Summer from 4/11/19-4/16/29. The property is beautiful, with a good-sized pool where we spent most of our time at the villa. There are enough decks to get some space or time alone, plus a cool bar area beside the pool. Everyone liked their bedrooms, and I loved the master suite. The seventh bedroom, outside the main house and down a flight of stairs, felt like a little sanctuary and a highlight, though nobody felt safe staying there alone because it has an open layout and no doors. The hot tub wouldn't heat up. Meals were frustrating at times: some dishes differed from what we’d requested, and Chef Melvin didn't tell us about changes or problems. We bought all the ingredients for our meals, but some items still weren't prepared. It felt like he was doing his own thing. David, the butler, also had a bad disposition, and all 12 of us found his energy negative. Sometimes he answered requests in a condescending tone. We're an easygoing group, so dealing with that throughout the stay was disappointing. If not for the meals and the butler's attitude, I would have given the villa five stars.
