Hotel Riu Palace Jamaica - Adults Only - All Inclusive

The pool was refreshing, and the bartenders were amazing. They greeted me by name the whole time. I had a minor A/C problem, called the front office, and it was fixed within an hour. From the mimosas at arrival to the staff carrying our luggage and making us feel at home, the service was outstanding. It was my first time in Jamaica, and I loved every bit of it. The all-inclusive was so amazing I didn't even need to leave the resort. 10 out of 10, and I'd definitely recommend Riu Palace Jamaica to anyone wanting top-tier treatment.

The beach was perfect, with clear water and golden, soft sand. The beds there were comfortable and had some shade. Since this adults-only RIU is smaller than its neighbouring RIU hotels, it was easy to get around, and for us it had just the right amount of everything. The pool bar staff were brilliant, and the drinks were great. We had an absolutely brilliant time, from the service, food variety, cleanliness, and entertainment to all the activities we joined. We did aqua aerobics, group games, quiz nights, and pool basketball, and they gave prizes to the winners. Stephen, aka genius, thanks for all the effort you put into making sure we had a blast. We felt completely spoilt and would go back in a heartbeat.

The staff made our trip really memorable. There were 12 of us celebrating our 50th birthdays, and they went above and beyond with dinner reservations, arranging tables together at the buffet, and singing us the most amazing birthday song. The event staff got to know us and made sure we had a great time with activities and games. The food was wonderful, and the rooms were clean with very comfortable beds. The hotel is very close to the airport, so you hear lots of planes. The beach was nice, but the water wasn't clear and there was a lot of seaweed.

The food was definitely exceptional. We thought the restaurant selection and flavors were the best all-inclusive food we'd experienced at a Riu anywhere in the world, and our very picky group loved the stay. Lunch and dinner had different fish, sushi, beef, and vegetables. One night there was lobster, and I think you could eat as much as you wanted. That's rare. We'd been to other beachside places where fish was offered only once or twice a week. The bar staff were super outgoing and fun, and we really liked them. The rooms do need renovating. The sheets and bedcovers were very old, and I didn't care for the purple decor. The cafeteria was nice, and the staff were kind, but the milk was overheated in the coffee every time. We couldn't drink it because it burned our mouths. We had foam party, Jamaican beach lunch, daily daytime activities, and evening shows. I think the shows should start earlier. Other RIUs and all-inclusive 5-star hotels have them at 8pm, while here they started at 9.30. I think 8pm would work better here too. There was also a big party on Friday, with three Riu hotels next to each other. The gym was small but totally enough for training, with treadmills and free weights. We'd just finished a one-week holiday in Jamaica, and honestly I was surprised by how lovely the whole trip was.
