The cliffs are stunning, and going to Legends gives you access to a beautiful beach. It’s a good place to stay if you like a more rustic feel and don’t need the polish of pricier resorts. The homemade food was good, though there wasn’t much variety. We’d stay again.

What a pitiful place. I’ve visited Jamaica once and 15 countries in total, so I know what I’m talking about. I can only assume the good reviews come from people who haven’t traveled much. The food was awful, served only at certain hours with long waits and very few choices. Who comes to Jamaica for pizza and hamburgers at lunch? Dinner tasted good, but still had no choices. The staff at both Samsara and its sister property, Legends, were horribly rude. Kimiko and Tina were the only exceptions. We had to beg for beach towels, and when we finally got them on day two, they were poor quality. The marketing team calls a pool table and ping pong table an “arcade/family room,” and a few books left by visitors a “library.” There’s no usual all-inclusive entertainment except a reggae band on Friday nights, and no other activities at all. The full-service spa has one person, so don’t expect to go with friends or family together. This so-called all-inclusive wasn’t worth the one star I gave it. I’ll NEVER be back.

The sound of waves against the cliffs is lovely, and you can cliff jump here. There are two pools, the staff are nice, and the atmosphere is good. It’s a quaint, quiet little place, with decent rooms that aren’t fancy and very simple food. I’m a bit of a food snob, and it wasn’t up to my standards. There isn’t much to do unless you take a taxi north to town. Honestly, it’s not my style, so I won’t stay here again.

We stayed for two weeks and loved it. The food was fantastic, high-quality home cooking, and there are some lovely restaurants nearby. My son was keen on snorkeling from the cliffs and spent plenty of time in the pool. We could also use the partner hotel on the beach, which was great on days when the cliffs were too choppy for swimming. Wi-Fi worked well throughout the property. All the staff were incredible, always smiling and working hard, and couldn’t do enough for us. We’re already planning to return next year.

The setting at Samsara is beautiful, with lovely ocean views, peaceful surroundings, and a tranquil feel. We found the food authentically delicious, and the rooms, though a little dated, were clean and comfortable. Our first trip to Jamaica was a lovely one, and we absolutely loved staying here. The all-inclusive package felt well worth it. The only downside was that wine, tequila, and whisky weren’t included. The staff were warm, friendly, and a pleasure to talk to. Special thanks to Tina, Mauritia, Dorette, Kimmy, Chantel, and George for making us feel so welcome. We’d happily return.
