Sunrise Club Hotel Restaurant & Bar

They serve Jamaican food too, but the Italian food is awesome if you get tired of Jamaican dishes.

We stopped here for breakfast while in Negril for Dreams Weekend. The food was good, and the place was clean with lively decor that I loved. The tea cups are tiny, more like party tea cups than a full serving. Service took a while since there weren't many staff on during our visit, but our server was pleasant and kept us updated so we didn't lose patience.

The rooms are simple, but clean, and the air conditioning worked well. Everyone was friendly, including the colorful locals who often spend time at the bar. The grounds are clearly cared for, and Luca was attentive and made the service feel personal. The food had a great Italian touch, and the espresso made with Jamaican Blue mountain coffee was the best. I traveled during lobster spawning season, so I couldn't try some of their signature dishes, but everything I did eat was delicious. The restaurant is worth visiting even if you stay somewhere else in Negril. Sunrise Club is a small boutique hotel at the southern end of 7 Mile Beach, away from the crowds at big resorts like beaches, sandals, and couples. Bourbon Beach, with live music, is right across the road. Rick's Cafe is about a 10 minute drive away, and "The Jungle," described as the Caribbean's best nightclub, is two minutes away. I had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

The beds were seriously comfortable, and the remodeled rooms look beautiful. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, with great service all around. Breakfast was great, the coffee superb, and the pizzas and drinks delicious. Thanks, Luca, for the warm hospitality at Sunrise Club. I'll see you again soon!
