Mystic Ridge

We checked in without any hassle. Our room was on the third floor and there wasn't an elevator, but one of the staff helped carry our bags from the car up to the room. I was there for less than a day, but based on what I saw, I'd definitely return.

We’re so grateful we found Hillview Hotel. After the hurricane, we made an unexpected trip to Jamaica and ran into a lot of disruption. Our original hotel was closed when we arrived, so we spent three hours driving from Montego Bay looking for somewhere to stay. Mystic Ridge was the only hotel open with power and water 🙏🏽. They looked after us well, and the place turned out to be an unexpected gem 💎.

The walk up to the property is pretty steep, and reaching the apartment means climbing three flights of stairs. I used the hill for daily exercise, but it wouldn't be ideal for anyone with mobility issues. From the car park and apartment balcony, you get a great view down to the town and out over the ocean. The pool and bar area is a nice place for a drink at the end of the day. I spent six days here and enjoyed the stay. It's easy to walk into town, I felt safe, and the property is convenient for tourist attractions, local bars, and restaurants. I'd definitely stay again on my next visit to Ocho Rios.

It was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Being tourists, we saved money here for excursions, which were expensive but worth it, and for food. There's a supermarket, ATM, and restaurants nearby. Our excursions all picked us up at Mystic Ridge or somewhere within walking distance. I'd recommend it!
