SandCastles Holiday #C9

The staff were excellent when I was there as a guest, but customer service on the phone was poor. I called the 1800 number to ask for linen and towels, and the young man hung up on me twice.

I stayed here two years ago and thought it was fabulous. This time I was only meeting a friend, and I saw some people I’d met on my previous visit. It’s still very clean, quiet, and nice. The gated place sits in its own little community in one of the most walkable areas, but once you’re inside you hardly hear the rest of the world. The pool is always clean, and the bar is friendly and lively, with people chatting. Really lovely!

Right in the middle of town, so everything is close by. Free beach access and great value for the money.

Miss Pauline was friendly and attentive, always checking that we were all right or needed anything. The pillows were comfortable, and they changed the towels and bedding, which I hadn’t expected during our six nights. Having a kitchen was handy for making breakfast, and there was plenty of cutlery, crockery, and cookware. Plenty of parking too, and the location was perfect. The shower in B1 had very little power and kept losing hot water, so it wasn’t satisfactory any night. There were only 7 sunbeds at the pool, which wasn’t enough on at least one occasion. The Silver Sands restaurant at the complex didn’t list prices on its international menu, so we decided not to eat there.
