The condo itself was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, and the property has a lot of potential. But our stay at Whispering Seas in the unit we rented with Melanie was a frustrating one. On arrival, security asked for the exact condo number, and the details from Orbitz caused confusion. After a phone call, we learned the owner didn't even know we were checking in. She had the wrong date and hadn't sent any check-in instructions. The hot water heater and oven weren't turned on, so we had no hot water for more than a day, and Melanie didn't reply when we raised it. On day two, the main entry keypad locked us out and delayed our family from enjoying the vacation again. We also had trouble with the washing machine, and one pool was green and coated in slimy algae, without any sign saying it was closed or unsafe. The owner clearly isn't ready to host and communicates very poorly. I wouldn't recommend this particular Whispering Seas unit.

A great private spot with a lovely atmosphere for total relaxation. There are two pools, one salt water and one fresh water, and Ocho Rios is just ten minutes away.

We had a stellar stay at Whispering Seas in A301, a nice corner unit with great views. There are good places to eat and a convenience store within walking distance, and PG's Restaurant and Wine Bar is worth checking out. The complex has onsite security around the clock. Respect to Kevin, Sam, and Jermaine! Kevin can also arrange a shuttle to sightseeing spots or the airport. Amazing stay!

The ocean-facing bedroom gets very bright when the morning sun comes in through the balcony doors. It could really use blinds or blackout curtains. Aside from that, the property is beautiful, clean, and quiet, a perfect getaway.

The apartments and grounds at Whispering Seas, Tower Isle, Jamaica are lovely. But I wouldn't rent from the developers, Lance & Mel. Their listing includes amenities that weren't there, including a hot tub, beach frontage or access, a dishwasher, hair dryer, blender, and a working in-unit dryer, along with smaller toiletries and towel items. When I raised the missing items, they shifted the issue back onto me in a somewhat negative review and so far haven't corrected the amenity list.
