Bay View Eco Resort & Spa

Had a nice vacation with my daughter, my sister and her family, and my brother. Thanks to the lady at the front desk. We'll be back.

Fine for a quick night, with Blue Lagoon and Boston nearby and other amenities close at hand. The rooms feel a bit old-fashioned, the power went out a few times, and the pool looked dirty, though staff said it had been cleaned.

The room had an amazing view, and I loved the nature walks. As someone who enjoys nature, I was in awe of God's creation. I came for the Easter holiday hoping to relax and recharge, though unfortunate circumstances meant I arrived late. I was really counting on the spa, but the masseuse wasn't available. Breakfast was either Jamaican, with ackee and saltfish and boiled food, or continental, with scrambled eggs, fried dumplings, and fruit. I chose the continental option and found it okay. It was still a nice stay, though I expected more. The staff were accommodating, and free parking, Wi-Fi, and A/C were available. External personal factors also kept the trip from being more enjoyable.

My client stayed at Bay View Resort and Spa, Portland, from September 1-7, and was very impressed. Jessica and her staff were professional and welcoming, while the peaceful setting and lovely views made it feel like a home away from home. The location also made it easy to visit local attractions, including famous Boston Jerk and a boat tour past the cave where enslaved people once sought refuge. My client is already looking forward to returning. A great choice for relaxation, scenery, and cultural outings.
