Great Huts Resort

I got to meet Dr. Paul, the visionary behind Great Huts, and talking with him made me appreciate the care he’s put into it even more. His love for culture, history, and nature shows throughout the property. Great Huts feels like a sanctuary immersed in nature, with art, design, and architecture that celebrate African and Jamaican heritage. Every corner has thoughtful detail and a story. The staff, from reception to the dining area, were warm, attentive, and friendly. They used my name, anticipated what I needed, and handled my requests with genuine care, which made me feel at home. It’s a magical escape for rest, inspiration, or connection. I can’t recommend it enough, and I’m looking forward to coming back with my daughter, who’s already enchanted by it from afar.

A hidden gem with incredible views, delicious food, and impeccable service. It’s also right down the road from the birthplace of jerk. We wouldn’t change a thing.

This quiet, rustic hideaway above a beautiful cliff is a real chance to unplug and recharge. Lush greenery surrounds it, with peaceful views over the beach and ocean that take your breath away. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and their warmth made the stay special. I’m truly impressed.

I celebrated my birthday on a solo trip and felt very safe. It’s a beautiful space surrounded by nature, and the staff were awesome, friendly, and helpful. The rooms were beautiful too. I stayed in two, and the one I remember most is the Igbo room. I totally loved it and would definitely like to visit again. Dr Paul is so cool. Thanks, y’all!!
