Portmore Haven 1bedroom

I stayed for two nights. Mr. Leslie was accommodating when I called close to 3 a.m. after leaving a funeral setup. The room was small and charming, but uncomfortably hot even with two centrally placed fans. They also charged an extra 1,000 JMD to use the room's television. I'd never heard of that before.

I was in room #3🇺🇸..02/28/2025. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and I had a good three-day stay. I was usually out, so I didn't spend much time with the staff, but the interactions I did have were pleasant. I'd stay there again.

The owner was welcoming and friendly, which makes it hard to say this, but the studio didn't match the online pictures. It needed a proper cleaning: there was soap scum on the bathroom wall, cobwebs, tiny roaches, and a dirty refrigerator. We did get the AC room we paid for, at least. I hope the owner takes this as constructive criticism.

I stayed at Leslie Home near the end of summer 2024 and won't return. The rooms were filthy, with insects and other creatures, dusty fans covered in spider webs, and dirty bed sheets. Service was horrible and the place felt unprofessional. They'd bang on the door before 10 a.m., even though checkout was listed as before 11. It didn't feel family-friendly at all. The water was turned on and off unpredictably. I stayed in rooms with and without AC, and the only difference was the room size. I could say more, but the pictures can speak for themselves. Disclosure: I couldn't post this without giving a star rating. I'm giving this place no stars.
