The ocean was easy to hear from our room, which I found really soothing, and we stayed just one night. It was a good experience, though the bugs may be a problem if you don't like them. We saw big red ants in the mosquito net over the bed, plus other bugs and spiders on the walls and ceiling. The net was a nice touch, and there were enough comfortable pillows, but I left the net up because I was worried more bugs might crawl in from the floor. The open shower was close to the sink and toilet, so the bathroom floor could get wet. There's no TV, which didn't bother me, and the Wi-Fi let us watch a movie on the iPad. The AC and ceiling fan kept us surprisingly cool, even with only screens and shutters on the doors and windows.

The ocean view is amazing, and there's even a little beach, though operators there are hustling gear. The service was friendly, and dinner was outstanding. I'd definitely recommend the jerk fish and rice. The pizza with jerk chicken and pineapple was amazing too.
