Salt is approximately a 30-minute drive, Jerash is an hour's drive, Petra is roughly 3 and a half hours, and Aqaba and Wadi Rum are both around 4 hours. Amman-Queen Alia International Airport is approximately 50 km from the hotel. This is a charming four-star boutique hotel located in central Amman and, known for its popular outlets, this hip hotel has undergone a renovation in 2010. The air-conditioned establishment offers 70 rooms in total and welcomes its guests in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a cloakroom and lift access. Guests can wine and dine in the café, bar, pub and restaurant. Conference facilities and Internet access are also provided. The rooms are carpeted and cosy. Classically furnished, the guest rooms offer a range of facilities, including in-room Internet access, central air conditioning units, satellite TV, a safe and a minibar. This was my second visit to Amman, and Alqasr metropole hotel made a great impression this time. The value for the price was excellent, and it’s easy to get around from this location, about 15 minutes to everywhere. The staff were exceptional and helped with every request. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the service from Steve. He seemed to know what I needed before I even asked.

There are lots of good restaurants nearby, and the hotel sits right among all the services. The rooms are on the small side, but the price feels fair for what's included. Staff are super friendly and service is fantastic, with a welcoming 24/7 reception and a nice continental breakfast. Heya Cultural Centre and shopping are about a 7-minute walk away. Good for business or a family stay, and I'd book ahead for weekends.

The rooms are small, but comfortable, and the hotel is clean and looks new. What really stood out was how far the staff went to help with our awful rental car. At 4am they found jumper cables and another car so we could get the dead battery started. Wow, thank you!

During my month and a half at AlQasr Hotel, I felt safe the whole time, and the front desk made the long stay comfortable. Whenever I needed something or wanted to extend my booking, they helped right away without any fuss. The guys at reception were all friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and clean, with cleaning staff ready to help, and when my window blind broke, it was fixed promptly. I also used the lobby Trattoria restaurant and lounge for work and meetings. Breakfast is served there each morning. It was good, though the same limited selection came out every day, which didn't bother me but might not suit everyone. The coffee, though, was absolutely disgusting. You can order meals from the hotel restaurants during the day or night, and the service was good, depending on who was working. Steve was the best in my view, very professional and attentive, and his presence made my stay much better. Ali was quite nice too. The Trattoria manager was a bit rude, and once stayed on the phone through our whole interaction. One server didn't speak English at all. He wasn't a bad server, but it made asking for things difficult. Arabic is the national language, of course, but with so many international guests, it would help to have guest-facing staff with basic English. I had a good stay and would recommend the hotel in Amman. I also wrote separate reviews for the Garden and Vinaigrette since they’re separate restaurants.
