Alqimah Serviced Hotel Apartments

There was water leaking from the bathroom, the kitchen had nothing in it, and the TV didn't work. There weren't even tissue boxes. The place was really old and unclean, with stains on the bedding and towels. Too bad!

For the price, I had a nice four-night stay. The facilities were acceptable, the location was good though the streets were busy, and the people were charming. In general, it was nice.

The service for the price was amazing in every way. Firas was around checking for feedback, and the reception team were eager to help.

The stove was dangerous as well as broken. I got an electric shock from it, and it took five days to repair. The TV was out too, and only got fixed three days later after I reminded them several times. Simple requests took repeated follow-ups throughout my stay, and the response was appalling. Cleanliness and guest care seemed to be an afterthought from the moment I arrived. There was hair from previous guests on visibly dirty bedsheets, dust on the furniture from day one, and hair and debris that looked long ignored in the corners. Housekeeping was consistently unprofessional. They needed specific instructions for basic tasks, and without them they did little beyond changing bin liners and making the bed. Surfaces stayed dirty, and crumbs were left on the kitchen benches. The housekeeping staff were dismissive, and the night receptionist was downright rude. He never greeted guests and acted in an unwelcoming, disrespectful way. He was very weird and rude, looking you up and down and making you feel so uncomfortable. What should have been a relaxing holiday became stressful and frustrating. I've never felt so disappointed or disrespected as a guest, and I absolutely won't return. I strongly advise people to reconsider booking until major improvements are made. The whole team needs retraining or replacement before this place meets even basic hospitality standards.
