Amman Trail Hotel & Studios

The front desk lady was nice to talk to, but I wouldn't recommend this place, especially the inadequate room I was given. There was constant street noise from shouting and honking late into the night and early morning, and the room also kept smelling of cigarette smoke. I don't know where that was coming from, perhaps through vents somewhere in the building. The room looked somewhat clean, but the sheets and blankets had hair and stains. A strong perfume or cleaning spray seemed to be masking an odor. I asked for fresh sheets, and although they promised, they never changed them. The bathroom was awful and extremely cramped, with a shower too small for an average-sized person. Slow drainage left stagnant water, and the whole bathroom flooded during and after showers. I also requested a packed breakfast for my early departure, but they refused. Spend a little more for some comfort. Saving a couple of bucks here isn't worth it.

The room had a lovely charm, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. The receptionist was especially sweet and helpful throughout our stay. It's a perfect base for exploring downtown Amman, with plenty of sights and restaurants an easy walk away. I absolutely loved it!

The staff made us feel right at home, they were so welcoming. Amman Trail is perfectly placed in the heart of the old city center, which made exploring easy. I had a great stay!

This is a wonderful budget hotel right in downtown Amman, and the owners gave absolutely lovely service. My first flight was delayed, so I missed my connection in Dubai and arrived in Amman the next day. They honored the two nights I'd paid for online and shifted both my check-in and checkout dates. Breakfast is simple, just coffee, cereal, and bread with spreads. You can hear street noise in the rooms, so bring headphones or earplugs.
