The bar has a great atmosphere, but the way our wine order was handled felt dishonest. We asked for a specific bottle priced at 35 JDs, then staff brought a 45 JD bottle without telling us or checking that we accepted the higher price. Management wouldn’t honor the original price and offered only a small discount, which didn’t correct the mistake. They need to improve both service ethics and how they resolve conflicts.

The standard room was a letdown: old furniture and dreary decor that felt stuck twenty years ago. There were no bathrobes or toothbrushes, and when we asked for extra water, staff said it would cost extra. The next day the manager said it wouldn’t, so either the staff had wrong information or didn’t care to give us the right answer. I was sick, exhausted, and barely able to stand when I tried to book a room at Le Royal Amman for that same day. They still insisted on unnecessary steps and wouldn’t let someone else finish check-in for me, even after I explained. I got no flexibility or support. The service was terrible, especially from Hekmat, who spoke disrespectfully and unprofessionally. The manager also promised to follow up the next day and never contacted us. No accountability. From start to finish it was awful. I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world, and this was the worst. I never thought a “5-star” place could be this bad. Absolutely not recommended.

The food at Le Royal Hotel in Amman Jordan was excellent, and the dining room staff were gracious. I especially want to thank Ali Ghnaim, Ibrahim, Fadi and Mahr for being so kind and helpful in the breakfast area. I found the hotel delightful.

The rooms don’t feel like a five-star hotel. The furniture and electrical controls are quite dated, and I can’t see how the place gets such high ratings on Booking.com.

That view from the 23rd floor was breathtaking. I felt welcome throughout my stay at Le Royal Hotel Amman, with friendly, professional staff and excellent service. My room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the atmosphere felt elegant. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Amman who wants a luxurious stay in the city center.
