The room felt like a great deal at 38 JOD, and I loved it. The hotel was clean and very nice, in uptown. The bathroom needs a door or something, because the shower floods the whole room. Breakfast was a letdown: the buffet had too many sweets, and many items had run out. It could have been much better for the room they provide. I’d give this guest house three stars, with disappointing breakfast.

I spent a full week here. The staff were kind and helpful, and the bed was comfortable. My room was okay, but the facilities were old and run down. The refrigerator didn’t really work, though I could use the electric kettle to make coffee and tea. The bathroom plumbing was clearly old, the sink had no hot water, and the toilet button cover fell off. Breakfast was the same each day: bread, hummus, fresh vegetables, hot potatoes, cooked sausages, boiled eggs, powdered coffee, and bagged tea. WiFi barely worked in the room, so I had to go to the lobby for a signal.

Getting into and out of the city was easy from this hotel, which worked well since we had a rental car. It’s also just a short taxi ride to central Amman. We had a large, clean room with a really comfortable bed, and although the bathroom was small, the shower was great. Breakfast was very good, and the staff were friendly. The price was good too. I’d highly recommend it.

The shower had a little mold, but otherwise our room was clean and in good shape. Breakfast was a Middle Eastern buffet with a few European choices as well. It’s a fairly clean, nice hotel at a reasonable price, in a convenient spot on Mecca Street. Just don’t expect four or five star conditions.
