Liwan Hotel

The location made getting around easy, with taxis always waiting outside the hotel. My room was spacious, clean, and well kept, and the bed was comfortable with everything neatly arranged. The staff were consistently polite, knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming, and their attentive service is a big reason I came back. I’ve stayed at Liwan Hotel twice, and both visits were excellent. I’ll be back again.

The second time we tried to book, I called three days ahead and specifically asked them to verify it because of what happened before. They quoted 65 JOD, but when we arrived they said there was no reservation. Then a room appeared, at 80 JOD. After a long argument, they agreed to the quoted price, but still wouldn't give us two room keys. This had happened once already. We booked at the front desk on our departure day so we’d have a room when we returned a few days later. On our return, staff said there was no booking, admitted they’d given the room to someone else, and tried to charge more. When we refused, they sent us to one of their supposed partner hotels. We thought it might have been a one-off mistake. Two other family friends ran into the same problems, so it seems to be a recurring pattern. Reservations, pricing transparency, and basic service are all serious issues here. We had an exceptionally bad experience both times. I won't stay again, and I'd tell others to avoid it if they care about reliable, honest service and a stress-free stay.

We added two extra nights at each end of our Jordan tour, and the hotel worked well for us. The rooms were clean and modern, the staff were polite and attentive, and the service was good. Restaurants and other local amenities are within walking distance. I’d recommend it.

Right in the city centre, so getting around was easy and cabs were easy to find. Liwan Hotel is comfortable enough and reasonably priced, though pretty average overall. The staff responded quickly when we raised issues, breakfast was good, and the room was cleaned every day. A decent pick if you want a convenient budget stay. 👍🏽
