The location is the only good thing here. The corridors smell awful, and one of the rooms has a slight sewage smell. If you pay by credit card, expect to pay 16% more. They call it “sales tax,” but it seems like a cash grab since they appear to waive it for cash payments. They'd already taken the money, and after that they couldn't have cared less. On the first night, a box containing items worth at least $600 was stolen. There was no heat in the apartment either, and it was freezing. I used my blanket to keep my elderly mom warm and had to sleep without one. It took them all of the second day to fix the heating. On day three the WiFi stopped working, and I had to rearrange my plans again to deal with them. Even then, they didn't fix it. They clearly don't care once they've been paid. Apart from the location, this was a complete waste of money.

The place was filthy throughout my stay. Common areas, elevators, and even the so-called amenities were dirty and poorly maintained, with dust and grime everywhere. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months, and the staff didn't seem to care about keeping it livable. There was no hot water for most of my stay, so even showering or washing my hands comfortably wasn't possible. The AC was completely broken, and the room felt like an oven. I was drenched in sweat day and night. The lack of basic services and cleanliness made this worse than I could have imagined. This Damac was a total nightmare. If I could give it zero stars, I would. It should be shut down. Don't waste your time or money here. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

I asked about renting a unit listed on booking.com. The man who answered called it a scam and tried to get me to pay 200 more. I then called the main office, and they said they do contract with booking.com. Seeing those business tactics, which felt unprofessional and like an attempt to take advantage of a foreigner, I'll spend my money at an honest apartment complex.
