Housekeeping were the only friendly people we met. The receptionists never smiled, and the cleaning was deplorable. Our room was tiny, the bathroom was dirty and covered in mold, and it flooded after every use. The location is the one good thing, close to old Amman Downtown. But parking is almost impossible since there's no private lot and you have to leave the car on the street. Before 7am, they woke me because traffic police were outside asking guests to move their cars.

Right in central Amman, this is a well-priced hotel with friendly staff who'll help with what you need. The cleaning could be better.

The tap water is poisonous!!! We didn't drink it, only used it to wash our faces and shower, but we all had gut problems for four days. Smoking is allowed in the rooms too, so they reek of cigarettes.

The location is the big advantage: Newpark hotel sits in the middle of the old town, close to the ruins and only about 200 m from famous restaurants. The rooms are spacious, the staff are nice, and the service was good. For the price, it’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. I’d recommend it.

Khaled Ady really made us feel safe, welcome, and at home. He’s a great person, and the hotel also has the best tour guide and driver in town. The staff were kind and the rooms were amazing. This was the best hotel I stayed at during my time in Jordan, and I recommend it.
