Cedar Hotel

The front desk staff were polite and positive, and the room was neat and clean. This was the first hotel in Jordan I've stayed at that provided a bottle of water.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and breakfast was the best we had on our whole trip in Jordan, with the most options. What made this hotel especially memorable, though, was the owner and staff. They were the best people we met, so welcoming and caring with their guests. Thank you for everything. I hope to see you again.

The staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast was okay. Hygiene in the room wasn't good: it hadn't been cleaned, and the bed linen we found had blood and lipstick stains. The nice receptionist brought clean linen when we asked, but it was too small for the bed, so we had to change it ourselves.

The night shift front desk guy was very nice and helpful. The sheets were clean and the beds were reasonably comfortable, and the A/C worked well and got nice and cold. But the rooms and common areas could have been cleaner. The TV didn't work, and the door lock, outlets, and other fixtures were quite worn. I booked through Booking.com, which said cards were accepted, and the hotel entrance had Visa, MC, and other payment stickers. At checkout the front desk said it was cash only, which felt like a lie. They also said they didn't have change for my 50 JD note when the room cost 38 JD. I eventually got some, but not all, of the change owed. A small scam, but disappointing.
