The gulf of Aqaba and Sinai peninsula look wonderful from here. Staff were warm, polite, and friendly, and the open buffet dinner was good. Breakfast wasn’t especially varied, but it was good enough. The nighttime animation was too noisy.

My first visit was amazing and cheaper, so I expected a similar stay this second time. It was disappointing. On two of the three days the big pool was closed, and we were told to use the kids’ pool, which is 110cm deep. At the pool bar I couldn’t find anyone to take my order. The hotel is generally very nice and quiet, but the pool seemed to have problems every day. If relaxing by the pool and going for a swim are important to you, I’d suggest staying somewhere else.

The staff were very nice and humble, and my room was really clean. It’s close to South Beach, but you’ll probably need a car to get to the city center and back. The beach is about half a kilometer away on foot. You can see it from a room facing the beach and pool side. That room costs 85, while other rooms are 75, and breakfast is included. There’s a bar and shisha, plus a massage room open from 2 pm to 11 pm. I went during those hours, but unfortunately couldn’t find anyone there.

The crew were very helpful and the food was delicious, and it’s a great hotel for a good vacation. I did notice a few things that might get fixed: the Wi-Fi signal was very weak, there was nowhere to hang washing, and the sun umbrella wasn’t secured well and could easily fall over in the wind. Still, it’s a very amazing place and deserves a few days.
