Jordan Seasons Hotel

We’ve stayed here twice, my wife, our little daughter, and me. The staff were so friendly, and I really appreciated how the owner, Mohamed, and his team went out of their way to look after us. The hotel has a lovely city view, is only minutes from the corniche, and serves a delicious breakfast. I definitely recommend it for a great stay in Aqaba.

I left early and booked somewhere else. The room was filthy, with stained sheets, dust everywhere, and a bathroom that looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The awful smell in the hallways and room made it hard to sleep. When I complained, staff shrugged and offered no solution. They were unprofessional, the breakfast was cold and had almost no variety, and the amenities listed online were broken or missing. The hotel charges far more than it’s worth. It felt like a run-down motel pretending to be a proper hotel. If you value your money and peace of mind, stay well away from Jordan Seasons Hotel.

The location is fine, though keep in mind it’s a walk uphill from the city centre. The bay view is nice, with Aqaba and Elat visible. Breakfast was okay, the staff were friendly, and the laundry service I used was fine too.

There’s a cheap, well-stocked shop across the road and a pharmacy opposite. The beach is at the bottom of the hill, and it’s aimed at locals, so women have to cover up to bathe. The hotel doesn’t serve lunch or dinner. It sits right at the top of the hill, which makes the walk back a bit tough in the heat. The place feels very dated. Breakfast is mostly local food, though toast and boiled eggs are available.
