I enjoyed the hippie-like atmosphere, and for divers this is a decent place to stay. It’s simple, more for divers than princesses, and the accommodation seemed comparable to nearby hotels. The site and bungalows look a bit shabby, though my room was clean. I spotted a lonely hair or a stain on the sheets, but they seemed washed. I didn’t mind the broken TV or the wardrobe that looked 50 years old. The mosquito lamp trap didn’t seem to work. I found at least 10 mosquitoes in my room and barely slept, so bring your own electric repellent if mosquito buzzing bothers you as much as it does me. There’s a small pool I didn’t use, with comfortable sunbeds around it, but repellent is a good idea because there are hundreds of flies. Each room has a fridge, which is handy. Buy food and drinks in Aqaba first, since there’s no grocery shop nearby. The price for one person is unfortunately the same as for two. (Feb 2026)

The staff were so attentive, and even made us an early breakfast. We loved our stay at Bedouin Garden Village. The accommodation was nice, with lovely colors and a terrace. In one room we had mosquitoes, so bringing repellent may be a good idea, even in mid February. It’s just a minute from the beach. We picked up snorkels at their diving centre, followed the rope into the sea, and found lovely coral and lots of tropical fish just 50-100 m from shore. We loved being there and wish we could come back.

My family had a good time. The room was clean, and the staff were helpful, so Bedouin Garden Village is good value. Mahmood at the dive center was friendly and helpful too.

They kept the ID card I left as a deposit for snorkeling equipment and didn’t return it. I only noticed when I got to the airport. A deposit should be money, not documents.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the place is handy for getting to the sea. It’s less convenient for the city center.
