The room and service were great, and for the price I don’t think you’ll find anything better. I have no other complaints, but the apartment is right beside a mosque, so the prayer from 5 to 6 am was quite loud. I measured it at 68db in my room, and you probably won’t be able to sleep through it. Maybe the noise insulation could be improved.
The location is so good, right near the beach and local market. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and there’s plenty of parking. Prices are very reasonable, and the owners are kind and friendly.
The area was really noisy, and the rooms looked smaller than they did in the photos. There were also a few damaged spots in the bathroom.
After the very hot days, it was nice to unwind on the cool terrace at night, and getting around on foot was easy. Ramadan was kind and friendly to chat with, while Jood gave us some helpful information about the city. My only suggestion is to get thicker pillows, these were too thin.
The location was a big plus for me, with shops and restaurants right outside, the city beach just steps away, and the souk and touristy area an easy walk. The management were lovely, shared local restaurant tips, and even bought bus tickets for me when I had trouble with the booking site. At this price, the standard rooms are really good value in Aqaba, where you often only get a hostel bed. I’d happily stay again. I did change rooms after two nights. The small double had no window and felt unfinished, with no TV and a tiny bathroom. The standard rooms had more space, daylight, clean bathrooms, and huge balconies. The first room wasn’t the most comfortable, but everything else was excellent. Just avoid the small double if you want daylight.
