Southern Star Club quickly became my favorite place to stay. Amer was incredibly hospitable, and his delicious homemade breakfasts made our visit feel special. The property was impeccably clean and offers regular rooms as well as rooms with kitchenettes. We really enjoyed our time there. It’s a peaceful retreat in a quiet spot near Southern Beach and Tala Bay. Japanese Garden Beach and Bernice Beach are within walking distance. If you're visiting Aqaba to dive or snorkel, it's an ideal base. There’s a large, beautiful pool and a nice shared terrace with BBQ facilities.

The owners were really helpful, and you can rent a mask and other snorkeling gear there. They also have two deep pools if you want to try diving at the property. The rooms were clean and fresh, and breakfast made by the owner was tasty. I can definitely recommend this cozy place near the southern beach, outside the city.

SCUBA DIVING SCAM! The accommodation was adequate, though not great, but the owner is a fraud. During my stay a few weeks ago, he persuaded me to pay for the PADI scuba diving course, saying it would make a full open water course cheaper. He told me he would fill out the forms and that I’d get an email a few days later. It never came. I’ve contacted him since, but he keeps saying he’s busy and still hasn’t filled out the forms. He also only takes cash, so we have no payment record. I should have read the previous reviews before agreeing to pay. If zero stars were possible, that’s what I’d give.

We had a great time here with a group of friends. It’s a beautiful little holiday park, with several rooms and apartments around a big, deep swimming pool. The place is quiet, though you’ll need a car or a cab to get to Akaba. The owner was very friendly and could arrange snorkeling or diving trips, along with anything else we needed. He’s also an amazing cook, and served us a feast on two evenings. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
