Tell Madaba Hotel

Breakfast was amazing, with lots of choice and everything fresh and homemade. We stayed at Tell Madaba for a few nights while travelling around Jordan on our honeymoon in September / October 2025. Edward and his lovely family welcomed us, and we felt at home straight away. It has a special, friendly family-home feel, beautiful rooms, and a great location. The town's bustle was only a short walk away, and having a parking space right outside was handy for our hired car. We couldn't fault the place and thought it was exceptional value. Edward is a travel agent and gave us excellent advice on planning our itinerary. We wish we'd found this place on day one, as it would have saved us a lot of headaches later. A word of advice from us: steer clear of the Wadi Rum bubble tents. We enjoyed the host family's hospitality so much that we cancelled our last night in Amman to stay longer. They're incredibly welcoming, the historic precinct is a short walk away, and breakfast was easily among the best we had in Jordan. I'd highly recommend using this place as a base for day trips instead of booking a resort at the Dead Sea. I took this photo in the local neighborhood!

Even arriving at 1:30 am, we got a wonderfully warm welcome from Edward. The room was clean and a good size, with a large, comfortable bed, and breakfast was delicious. It's a relaxed place in an excellent location. Can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you!

Breakfast really is a highlight, as so many other reviews mention. The lady of the house proudly brings it out to guests, and you can see why. It's a lovely, family-run hotel with very friendly people and a great location. There's also a free parking lot nearby. I very much enjoyed my stay. Full marks!
