The dinners were fantastic, and I’d recommend adding the buffet. After a full day at Petra or Wadi Rum, it was so convenient to have such a variety of food, with several desserts to choose from. Breakfast was a generous buffet too, with lots of options and an egg station. Our room was a good size, clean and had a comfortable bed. The shower pressure could have been stronger, and at busy times the water wasn't hot enough. The pool was closed for winter maintenance. There was enough parking just outside the entrance. We spent four nights here while visiting Petra and Wadi Rum. The hotel sits by the Kings Way, about 3 km from Petra's visitor center, with easy access to and from Amman and Wadi Rum. Check-in was quick, and the staff were kind and polite. Each person we met made a real effort to ensure we were enjoying our stay. We also met one of the owners, Mr Adel. We enjoyed chatting with him every night. We had a perfect stay and would highly recommend the hotel.

Chef Malik and his team, Ivy, April and Kamal, took such good care of us over breakfast. They kept checking whether we needed anything. We were a group of ten adults with five rooms on my second stay at Petra Canyon Hotel, and the staff made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. They upgraded all our rooms to ones with Petra views, which were stunning. From our room’s balcony, we could see Petra and the city. It made this return visit feel special.

The food was really tasty, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean. We had a wonderful stay at Petra Canyon Hotel, and I’d highly recommend it.

The rooms were beautiful and spacious, and easy to heat. The pool was too cold to use in winter, but we knew that beforehand. I didn't really care for the buffet food, though my parents loved it, so that’s just a matter of taste. Breakfast was amazing. Everyone made us feel welcome, especially the super friendly staff. I only remember Ivy’s name, along with the chef who made the scrambled eggs and the person at reception.

The room was huge, as were the bed and the very nice bathroom. Heating and cooling were easy to use, and breakfast was decent. The woman running the breakfast room was abrupt, pushy and rude, though. She could use some customer service training, as that wasn't a good impression for the hotel. Apart from that, it's a great place.
