Petra town check-Inn

After dealing with lots of people who tried to scam me, I was worn out. The older man at reception was so kind that he became my best memory in Petra. He gave me useful bus information, warned me about some traps, and quoted a real budget price for a room. I don’t know how to thank him. Wishing you a long life.。

The staff were friendly and gave us useful tips for Petra, and the stay was good value. Our room was comfortable, the shower was really nice, and breakfast was great. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Petra Visitor Centre is about a 20-minute walk, downhill on the way there, but the return hill is steep, especially after hours walking around Petra. The kettle put me off, though. We planned to make tea one evening, but when I opened it the inside was black and dirty, not just limescale. It wiped away when I checked, but I didn’t want to use it. There are stairs down to reception and then more stairs up to the rooms. I’d still recommend the place.

I booked through booking.com and stayed a week. The place is basic, I believe it’s one star, but it had everything I needed for a week visiting Petra park. Breakfast was a simple buffet, but enough, and my room was clean with a nice bathroom and fancy shower. The receptionist was extremely helpful and polite. Everything went smoothly, and I can see myself staying there again on another Petra visit. Thanks for the hospitality.

We were four friends, and Mr. Maher at reception was incredibly helpful. He arranged an early breakfast before our morning flight and found us a last-minute taxi to Amman. His genuine kindness made our stay memorable. We’d definitely recommend this place if you want a comfortable stay on a budget.
