Everything worked great during my stay in Petra. The man knew I’d be leaving early and miss breakfast, so he made me a lunch to take along. That was a very welcome gesture. I’d highly recommend this place.

Issam was such a kind host and knew so much about Petra, the area, and Jordan. He shared lots of useful tips and also runs guided treks and other trips around Jordan. If we’d known before our visit, we would’ve booked one. We stayed two nights with my mum and sisters. The hotel is just a few minutes on foot from local shops and restaurants, and a short walk from Petra visitor centre. Breakfast was great, and on our Petra day they packed one for us so we could leave at 6am. There was even a surprise cake and present for Mum’s birthday on the terrace, which made the stay extra special. We couldn’t recommend it more.

We had a clean room with everything we needed, and the second morning’s breakfast was tasty. The owner was very hospitable from the start, offering us grapes and drinks when we arrived. Since we were heading to Petra early and would miss breakfast, he went out of his way to prepare lunch boxes for us. He suggested a restaurant where we got a 10% discount on delicious traditional Jordan food. He’s friendly and enjoys chatting with guests, and his good English made it easier to talk with him and negotiate prices when our taxi arrived. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place really deserved a positive one.

The staff were kind and quick to help whenever we needed anything. With lots of restaurants close by, the location was convenient for our Petra visit, and staying here made the trip more comfortable. I’d recommend it to travelers looking for a pleasant place to stay.
