The Villas - Bedouin Boutique Resort

The camp was much better than we expected, and the hosts were kind, generous people who made the stay memorable. It’s deep in Wadi Rum, which made for a great drive and beautiful scenery that we mostly had to ourselves. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

The cabins were comfortable and very nice, and the hospitality was top tier. We also went on a camel ride and a jeep tour, both excellent. The jeep tour stopped at interesting spots and included a little hiking. Best of all, dinner was cooked traditionally in the ground and tasted amazing. We had the best time at this resort and highly recommend it for a Wadi Rum trip.

It’s a small resort with around 7-8 rooms, and that size felt just right. The service and food were great, and as a vegetarian I felt well looked after. They made a great dinner, and my non-vegetarian husband raved about it too. We joined a jeep tour organized by the resort, where lunch was freshly prepared in the desert and had great vegetarian options. Our room had everything we needed: AC, a small sitting area, tea setup, a very comfortable bed, and a well-equipped bathroom with a hair dryer and other amenities. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm water, its good pressure, and reliable supply. There’s a central dining area for meals and an outdoor area to relax in. A great choice if you want a quieter resort with good food and service.

Marwan and his team made the whole stay amazing, from the planning before arrival to the experience at camp. Marwan was in touch beforehand and could collect our belongings and bring us from Wadi Rum Village. The clean rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we were impressed there was hot running water so far out in the desert. He offers several activities at good prices. We enjoyed the Wadi Rum Jeep tour and sandboarding, and I’d allow 4-6 hours for them if you have a full day. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the camp offers a unique Bedouin experience. We skipped lunch because of the tour, but they brought us snacks when we got back that afternoon. The camp is dry, like all camps in wadi rum, so we had Bedouin tea and coffee by the fire instead. The location has a fantastic sunset view across the white desert toward the Saudi border. For New Years Eve, Marwan kindly put on fireworks and traditional music. I can’t recommend the camp highly enough. Thanks again to Marwan and his team.
