We had a peaceful, fun, and interesting Wadi Rum tour, with a day trip, camel ride, and night at a camp. Before the tour, we stayed at the organiser’s home in Wadi Rum Village so we could set off early. It was interesting to experience how they live, and breakfast was perfect. The day started with a camel ride, then we took a jeep to a few places and did some hikes with great views. Lunch at the camp was delicious, and afterward we visited more desert spots, ending at a beautiful sunset location. The camp sits deeper in the main Wadi Rum valley, with amazing views over the whole valley. Dinner was delicious too, and we smoked shisha and spent time with the Bedouins. The personel were friendly and there were no problems. Every meal was really good. The toilets and showers were very nice, though the warm water is heated by sunlight. There’s electricity from solar panels, and it can last after sunset but not all night. The internet is really slow because the signal is weak this far into the desert. It gets cold in the tent at night, but we had enough blankets, and towels were provided. I’d definitely do it again and recommend at least a day trip with a camp sleepover. Staying at the organiser’s home beforehand was a nice extra. I’ll leave out more photos so you can experience it yourself.

This tour really exceeded our expectations. Before setting out, they let us leave our car in their yard so we could feel at ease, and they kindly gave us tea. Our guide was very friendly and took us to the best spots in Wadi Rum. He brought extra water when he realized we were beginners and hadn’t worked out how much we’d need in the desert. He also helped us climb the rocks and pointed out great places for photos. Wonderful tour!

That Wadi Rum sunset was one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. After a day exploring, we arrived at camp, relaxed and chatted with the other guests, then had an authentic dinner before bed. Salman made communication quick and easy from booking through arrival and the stay itself. Before setting off on the amazing trek into Wadi Rum, we were welcomed with tea at a family home. A visit to Jordan feels incomplete without coming to Wadi Rum, ideally with at least one night there.

We spent two days and two nights on a jeep tour, with our Bedouin guide Eid. He was experienced and attentive, quickly figuring out what suited us and sometimes taking us to astonishing places off the usual route. We had plenty of time to take it all in and felt we saw everything. Staying at two different desert camps INSIDE the nature parc was a unique part of the trip. There was Bedouin music, special cooking, and time for personal conversations with local people. Even the rooms were above standard. We came away with a much fuller impression than I expected, and received far more than the description promised. Thanks again to Eid and his wonderful family.

The tea and sunset were lovely. We spent 66 JOD for a four-hour jeep trip that included a 30-minute camel ride. A memorable time in the desert!
