It was just a quick work stay. The older man at the front desk looked at me strangely when I checked in that evening. I wondered if it was like how some Japanese people stare at foreigners as if we’re bad or something. At checkout, though, a young woman was incredibly nice and had a great attitude. She gave me a map and showed me how to get to the train station. She deserves praise. Thanks, smile girl, and have a nice shift!
