The room and host were nice, and the price was good. It’s close to pretty much everything. Doubutsuen mae station, Don Quijote and the police station are all about a 15-20 minute walk away. You can actually call the host, and they’ll help you.

Nothing fancy, but this hostel is decent and everything works. We were there for two nights on the third floor. The first night, it sounded like a party was happening upstairs. It’s a typical Japanese house, so the floors and walls are really thin. I spoke to the manager, and the next night was quiet. They’re helpful when something goes wrong. If you can, try for a fourth-floor room so you won’t have anyone above you.

It’s small and cosy, and the English instructions and guides are easy to follow. Doubutsuen-mae station is a short walk away. There’s also a pretty large supermarket just a stone’s throw from the place, with fresh bentos that are good value.

I don't get why check-in is before 9:00. I came here at 8:00, but there was nobody around?
