The crew were so kind and professional, and went out of their way to help when my rental car broke down during my stay. They were very understanding and made generous accommodations. The rooms, meals and baths were all great too. I'd gladly recommend this place to anyone seeking good hospitality in the region, and I'll certainly return if I find myself back here.

We spent one night with dinner and breakfast at this old-style onsen hotel. Dinner buffet had a very good range, including steak, sashimi, shrimp tempura and plenty more. The baths were spacious and clean. One staff member did his best to speak with us in English. Full marks for the effort.

The dinner buffet and breakfast offered a big choice of food and drinks, and the lobby has drinks available free-flow. We had a Japanese-style room overlooking the valley. The hotel is well maintained for its age, though you can tell it's old. The private onsen was nice for our family.

The open-air onsen was sooo good. There are two public baths and one private one, though the private bath is large enough for up to ten people at once, so it doesn't really feel private. The view was so suspicious. I got a very rare Agoda deal, about 37,000 yen for a room for four, with breakfast and dinner included. The room felt traditional, and it's highly recommended. If you're lucky, you might get a room with a private onsen tub for under 70,000 yen.

Our room had its own onsen bath, which was great. If older hotels or ryokan with hot springs are your thing, this place is a wonderful choice. Highly recommended.
