My husband suggested trying the trendy “hocance” thing, a hotel vacation where you just relax and do nothing. I was worn out from raising our child and didn’t want to stay home, but taking a small baby out sounded like a hassle. Children up to three stay free, so I called to ask and we decided to go. The building looks a little old, but our room was clean and well equipped. I could forget about housework for a while. There was a drink bar and free amenities in the lobby, but with my child and bags in my hands I was about to give up on getting anything. The front desk lady came over, asked if I wanted a drink, and carried it to our room. Her apron had my daughter’s favorite character, Chiikawa, on it, which helped calm her down. A few minutes after check-in, she brought a child’s blanket and fluffy rental loungewear, saying we could use them if we wanted. I was so touched. It had been a long time since someone had been that kind to me. Breakfast was served, so I didn’t have to cook, and the amenities and rentals helped me unwind from everyday stress. When we left, they helped carry our luggage too. It was all very heartwarming, and I’ll definitely stay here again.

The staff are really friendly, and the rooms are clean. There are lots of amenities and free rental items, plus a drink and alcohol bar where you can mix a flavor you like. Great value. I’d definitely come back.

It had been a few years since I last stayed at a hotel like this. The facilities seemed old, but the room was roomy and the service was excellent.
