Suzuki Ryokan (Hokkaido Akkeshi)

For this far western area, it's okay. You don't usually see tourists here.

Really good place!

There's a mascot cat at this accommodation. The proprietress runs the place efficiently, and credit cards are accepted. You can reserve the public bath for private use, and parking is beside the building. The meals are tasty, with Akkeshi's specialty oyster dishes, and rice is unlimited. Breakfast also has all-you-can-drink instant coffee.

The meals were tasty, and there was a cat that rode on the food cart. The pillows were filled with buckwheat husks. The room had no bath or toilet, and there was no toothbrush. I also suspect the comb had been reused. It wasn't clean, there were no curtains, and the ketchup was past its expiration date, though I don't know whether it was replaced. My allergies made me sneeze, gave me a runny nose and itchy eyes, so apart from the food I couldn't do anything. Still, since the food was delicious, I felt it was good value for the price.
